| BIOGRAPHY Artist/Song writer/Producer/Professional Musician. Demario Devon Reynolds, also known as “Big Rio”, grew up most of his life in Tulsa, Ok. Growing up was very hard for Big Rio. He and his family went through many trials and tribulations, and still are. “I am very close to my family.” He was first introduced to the melodic sounds of Zapp and Roger Troutman in his early years by his biological father. “I remember riding in his 1963 Chevy impala in Boley, Ok listening to Grape vine over and over again because that was and still is my favorite song.” He was further inspired to be widely known in the music industry such as them and his other favorite musical icon, Tupac Shakur. Big Rio grew to be very fond of what is now known as old school music. He entered middle school at George W. Carver middle school and joined the band where he learned how to read music. Big Rio grew to love band. He continued throughout his school years, and to this day, to play in marching bands and jazz bands. “I believe the marching band is what gave me the audacity to even think about being a rapper.” Big Rio had the chance to travel the world and perform for NBA teams Denver Nuggets, New Orleans Hornets, and the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was granted the opportunity to meet B.B. King, and perform live with him. When Big Rio entered College he was introduced to the production of music. He learned the basics on how to produce a song and how to make beats. Big Rio had a group of friends whom he rapped with but eventually they found out each other were not on the same page as to whether rapping was “just a hobby” or “wanting to be heard globally.” So Big Rio went into doing everything on his own. “I really am focused on getting my voice heard; my mother told me I have a story to tell, so I want to tell it.” Big Rio has dropped a mix tape called Phantoms of the Opera, and is now currently working on finishing his album Real Talk. “This album is being made to not only be heard but to be felt.” Go see how his music sounds to you. www.myspace. com/bigriodaneo. “I love criticism.
